Goin' Up To Cripple Creek

 If it's summertime, it must be time for the melodrama at the Butte Theater in Cripple Creek!  Joleen was lucky enough to be here during that time so I ordered 3 tickets and we were off!

Since we arrived early, we walked around a little bit and marveled at the HUGE hotel they are STILL building - they had started it last year when we were over there and it's still a work in progress!

After getting our drinks and popcorn, we settled in to watch From Rags To Riches.


I wish we could say we loved the production but we were all disappointed in the story line!  The acting was fantastic and we always wonder how they get such great talent in this small town!!  Just wish we would have enjoyed it more!


The olio was great as usual - always has us laughing!  It's always a fun time with good friends!

    That's sad that you didn't like the story. But sometimes just seeing the great acting is enough. How fun to go with friends!
