Since we have "Rita" the troll not far from us, I am intrigued by them!! So next on our list was Fjord Ferryman!
It was quite a walk from the parking lot down to the actual troll - on the way was this large Nordic Swan which was made from recycled plastic buckets and wood!
I love these bird feeders along the path and I'm not sure, but I think they may have lights attached!

Fjord is 22 feet tall and represents the Danish immigrants to Iowa!! He was amazing!!!
After the walk back to our car, we went to a bar/restaurant that had been recommended (and of course I forgot the name of it) and split a bacon, tomato and grilled cheese sandwich with onion rings - delicious! But the best part was the root beer float - it was amazing as I hadn't had one in a long time!
We had a nice drive back to Soldier, went next door to visit with Patty's neighbor and have a drink and just relaxed! What a super fun day spent with Patty!
