Details and Photo Dump For April

So I did say I would write about DETAILS of our stay in San Felipe!!  Almost a week after we got home, I started getting texts from the gal who ran the apartments where we stayed - she said we had broke the garage door and needed us to pay $200 for repairs - WHAT?????  I calmly explained what we had done that morning when we left (the same thing her son had done the day before - lifting up that garage door a little bit more so we could clear the ice chest).  We went back and forth - back and forth - and it just kept getting worse and worse!!!  We kept asking to see the video (yes, there were cameras!!) of us HITTING the garage door which of course wasn't true - and she wouldn't send them to us!!  Just the video of the car sitting in FRONT of the doors showing it wasn't going to clear!!  Anyway, after an hour of back and forth with her, we were getting really upset!  She kept saying she was going to turn us into Booking.com which is where we had booked the apartment - we finally just told her to go ahead and do it - we KNEW we had nothing wrong!

So the next morning, there is an email from Booking.com explaining what she had said and asked us to pay her $200 - we immediately replied to them and explained the situation!  And not another peep was heard out of either one of them!!!  OH MY GOSH - what a waste of time dealing with her!!

On to other things......  April is gone and we're now into May!!  And the photo dump is SUPER SHORT this time!!

Aleah and her guy Gio headed to prom in Ft. Collins!

Glenn discovered when we got home that we had a couple of trees that needed to come down due to being infested with the pine beetle!  I was out there with my phone, just in case the tree didn't fall where it was supposed to!!

Both trees were close to the main road and unfortunately, the first one didn't fall where he wanted it to but he figured it out and ended up getting both down - branches are in a pile for dumpster days and the trunks were covered in plastic to smother the pine beetles!

WE HAD SNOW!!!!!  It was SO welcome because Colorado is extremely dry!!  It was nice wet snow which of course was fantastic and it did melt pretty fast!  Check out my hummingbird feeder in the center of the picture!

The trees were gorgeous!!

And that's a wrap for April!!  Looking forward to tomorrow as MORE snow is in the forecast!!
