Our flight out of Denver didn't leave till 11:00 so we had plenty of time for a nice breakfast and of course a Caribou Coffee! Gosh I miss having that place close to Jessi's house!!
The first flight was great - landed in Dallas with a 3 hour layover so we walked around and ate some BBQ before boarding the next flight which would take us into San Jose, Costa Rica! It was a little rough at times but the pilot made good time and we landed early - good thing too as there was some glitch with the baggage and we stood there for 20 minutes waiting for it!!
Customs was a breeze - we were the only plane there so were through in 5 minutes - and no light to push so see if your baggage gets searched!! Rene' had texted us to walk across the street to catch a shuttle bus to our hotel so in no time we were on that bus and headed to the Hampden to meet Cindy and Rene'.
It was wonderful to see them again but they were exhausted from getting up at 2:30am so we all headed to bed!
The Hampden served a wonderful breakfast that was included in the room rate - the fresh fruit was great and soon we were out the door and headed out!! There was an interesting tree right outside the door!
