I love Christmas Eve, almost as much as Christmas Day! The anticipation, the short work day, everyone telling you "Merry Christmas", the last minute hustle to get everything done - it's all part of getting prepared!
Although the midwest and the east are getting pounded with snow, we didn't even get the couple of inches that was predicted for last night! The cold weather, yes - but no snow! We still have plenty of snow though at our house and more is predicted on Friday so our Saturday Christmas will still be a white one!
We didn't celebrate Christmas at our house last year since the lower level wasn't finished and there just wasn't enough room to sleep everyone! But this year I get my wish - to celebrate together in our new log house! I can't wait - may your Christmas celebration be as special as ours is going to be!
