Once again we've returned home from a trip - this time from Iowa - and it was a fantastic trip and SO much fun!! Stay tuned for LOTS of pics and blogs!!
Anyway, after we started the journey home from Denver last night, we could tell it had rained a LOT and could see snow on the peak! About 1/2 way up the pass, I had to turn the heater on - seriously - that's how cold it was!! And we arrived home to 40 degree weather - I did double check the date and yes it was June 14th!!! Go away cold weather!
But that was nothing compared to the 30 degree weather we woke up too - I'm not kidding - frost all over EVERYTHING - Glenn lost a couple of tomato plants and we had to defrost the car to get the layer of frost off! The sun coming up over the mountain this morning was a nice welcome and the day has turned out nice and warm!!
