Our First Visitor

Glenn's sister Sherry from South Dakota flew in to visit us last week!  We picked her up at the airport on Sunday - and the airport has sure changed since COVID.  You're not allowed to go into the boarding area unless you have a boarding pass so if you're picking up someone, you have to walk around and go in through the arrival place!  She was on time and it was great to see her!  We also saw the COVID testing spot where she would be going before she flew back out a week later!

Even though we had high wind a lot of the time, Sherry enjoyed watching the kiters and joined me every morning on my walks!  

Glenn took her on a few ATV rides and she enjoyed seeing our subdivision out here!

We did go down by the rocks to look for glass!

Glenn had a lot of fish so decided to share it with Eric and Hillary and Del and Linda - we all met at Trini's where they cooked it for us - it was delicious!

Glenn and Sherry got to go out twice in the boat and she caught 2 of these!!

Shopping in town for t-shirts means stopping for ice cream!!  Glenn got a couple of t-shirts and a new hat - I found a long sleeved t-shirt and a zip up sweatshirt with "No Bad Days" on both of them!!  And that's the truth - there ARE no bad days down here!!

And the night before she left, we all enjoyed the hot tub!  We were all excited to watch the full moon rise over the ocean but the clouds were too heavy that night - darn!

But we did have a spectacular sunrise the next morning before she left - I'll post those later!  

We parked at the airport and waited while she did her COVID test - it was about a 40 minute wait to get her results and all was good so we said our good-byes and waited for Joleen to fly in!

Sure enjoyed having Sherry join us for a week!
