Fathers Day Weekend

 Can you believe that there was only ONE time this summer that ALL of the immediate family could get together?    I guess when you're trying to plan a get together with 4 families and work around all of their jobs and kids' activities, that's what happens.....

But Fathers' Day weekend it was for everyone to congregate!  Jill's (minus Robby who had already booked 2 days of computer work at a company) and Jessi's headed down on Saturday afternoon and we all went to Jaime's for brats, hot dogs and salads for dinner!

It's a nice walk down to their pond so we all headed down after cleaning up - some of the guys were already down there fishing!

Love this picture of the grand kids, including Nedelle who decided to stay with us for 3 nights!

There wasn't a great sunset that evening but it was pretty enough for us!  That's Glenn's reflection on the water.

And what a great picture of the 4 of us!!  It's not always that we're together so I cherish these photos!

After we walked back up, it was cake time with whipped cream - yum!  We had a houseful that night with Gary & Jessi in the guest bedroom, Gwyn on the floor in our room, and Kenzie, Aleah and Nedelle in the camper!

Nedelle wanted to sleep out with the girls so we pulled out the couch which makes into a hide a bed and blew it up!  However, sometime during the night the air went out of it and she was so uncomfortable she came back into the house and slept on the downstairs couch!  I never heard her at all so was quite shocked when Jessi came up the next morning and said she was inside!  And the fun continues.....
