One More Birthday Boy

 It was great to see all of Jessi's family at Kenzie's tournament and now it was time to see the Savages!

We spent Saturday night there - had a great dinner and caught up on their family!  Aleah wanted Starbucks the next morning so we headed there - it's certainly not my favorite place but I do enjoy their peppermint mochas!  

Both kids showed me all of their Christmas gifts which is always fun to see and usually something in their rooms has been rearranged!  We played cards that morning - Robby went out early and got us the yummy donuts too!  

Jill, Aleah, Glenn and I headed to the volleyball tournament together and it was great to see Kenzie play more games!  Of course it was dark again by the time the tournament was over so we were glad Jill drove!

We stopped to eat dinner at Freddie's (?) and it was very good!  Jill went into the bathroom to take out her contacts and then came back to the table and looked in her purse and said "Oh No!!!"  We asked what was wrong - she had taken her contacts out and of course threw them away BUT had forgotten to put her glasses in her purse when she left home!  So couldn't drive!!  Oh well, Glenn did just fine getting home!

Parker got his birthday present early too!  Amazon gift cards are wonderful!

The guys watched some more football and then we decided to go out for ice cream!  Coldstone didn't disappoint!

After a couple more card games it was time to hit the sack!  We left the next morning and headed back south!  A great weekend seeing the two families!
