The Very Merry Christmas Party

It was great to see Cindy and Rene again along with Brenner who was Rayna's age! The two of them immediately hit it off together and had a great time together over the next 2 days! Also joining us was Erica, Cindy and Rene's daughter who lives in Florida and USED to work at Disney World and her boyfriend Dave! So we had quite the crew roaming the streets that night!

We watched performances in front of the castle, rode ride after ride as the lines were bare minimum that night, drank free hot chocolate and ate sugar cookes throughout the evening and watched an awesome fireworks display in front of the castle! I have never seen such a production in the sky before - it was totally amazing!! At this point, the castle was darkened and lit up by the Christmas lights - absolutely gorgeous!! Of course my camera couldn't do it justice but I tried just the same!! Throughout the course of the evening, the castle changed colors many times!

There was a fantastic Christmas parade - float after float of all the Disney characters, dancing in the streets and lots of great music! Rayna sure enjoyed the princesses, some with their prince!

Kylan wasn't scared of anything or anyone - he would walk right up to the characters and give them a big hug! It was sure cute!

Of course the park was all decked out in decorations with huge Christmas trees throughout the kingdom! It was just a fun time walking around and getting in the Christmas spirit!!

Close to midnight, we decided to call it a night - we were all exhausted and of course the lines to get on the bus were long so it was super late before we made it back to the treehouse - very tired but still smiling from the great evening we had! By that time I had my second wind so since the luggage had been delivered while we were gone, I went ahead and got unpacked and organized for the next day - after all, I was on breakfast duty the next morning - so a short night it was!!
