Glenn and Bob are back from their hunting trip - actually they got back last Friday but life has been hectic since then..............Welcome back to the real world!
Unfortunately our freezer is still empty - no elk - yes, they had a great time and yes, they had great weather but the elk were in short supply this year! Guess there is always next year!
Bob emailed us a few pictures of camp life - and from the looks of this picture, they ate pretty darn good! Glenn had found a recipe for a cherry cobbler which is done in a dutch oven so I sent the ingredients with him and gosh, it not only looks good, Glenn said it tasted good too! I'm sure they munched on it the entire week!
One exciting thing they DID see was something I am STILL waiting to see - a moose in the wild! Maybe they should put in for moose season next year.......
